The Laptop you buy depends on how much you invest and what work you do. As a holiday traveller or an adventurer, I think you should buy an intermediate user-type laptop which involves, photo editing, video editing, graphic editing and some programming. 2. The high-end user needs a top high-end processor (to install 3-D software and many simulation software to run at once) 3. The other laptop user (light-work) needs a processor to handle MS Office, web browsing, emails, access bank accounts and prepare presentations. Finally, I have summarised your specifications for your convenience as this is not the time for you to research what laptop to buy.

I bought my Acer two years ago similar to the above and it still, works like a new Laptop.

Here are the specifications of my Laptop:

As you may be aware the Intel core i5, i7, i9 P, and H Generations are better and faster. H is the fastest. While U and P processors are slower than H. Don’t worry if you don’t understand these letters. The price increases from Intel Core i5 H to i9 H. (Intel Core i3 Laptops are pretty old now)

2. The higher the RAM (Random Access Memory) the faster the processing speed. You should select 8GB RAM minimum for your current applications though, the 4GB RAM Laptops are cheaper to buy.

3. The hard drive (storage) should be at least 500GB or 1 TB.

4. The SSD (Solid State Drive) is connected to the processor speed.

5. The GPU is your Graphic Processing Unit, which was designed to perform math calculations at a high speed. (you may check whether you have a GPU Card there)

6. Battery hours can be from 8 to 11 preferable.

7. The screen size (maybe a Full HD Display 1920x 1080 QUAD PANEL) is of your choice and should be a minimum 14”. The higher the screen size (measured diagonally) the higher the price is.

8. I have selected Windows 11 OS and other software like MS Office, is not included with the new Laptop.

9. You should select the standard UK Keyboard which is popular and should have a number pad to the right of the keyboard. The keys should not be very close to each other for easy typing.

10. The touchpad in the middle is better (not to the left).

11. Please check for the webcam, whether you have it in your Laptop or not

12. Ports: it is better to buy a laptop with 3 USB Ports and an additional Type C-Port.

13. The HDMI Slot offers the option to connect your laptop to a Projector or Multimedia unit.

14. (The SD card is a memory card that can store data like photos, music, emails, software, documents, and apps. In some Laptops you may have this slot)
